This year Tuftcamps will be running a 3 day long pre fondo one month out from the event(June 14th-16th) The Okanagan Granfondo was my 1st experience at an event like this and I was so impressed with the beauty of the course and the passion of all the participants. After racing for 20 years of my life, I’d like to share my knowledge and experience and help you on how best to navigate your big day on July 14th. Our training will consist of route recon, heat adaptation, hydration and fueling strategies, nutrition, training load and taper techniques and finally discussions on how best to handle the day, whether you just want to finish or push it at the pointy end of the ride.
